There’s a certain energy that defines Malmö — a blend of Nordic calm and quiet revolution. Last week, I had the privilege of attending The Drop 2025, a gathering that felt less like a conference and more like a creative pulse for the planet.
Held in the heart of Sweden’s most forward-thinking city, The Drop brought together innovators, investors, and changemakers reimagining how technology, design, and sustainability intersect. Across sessions, side events, and impromptu coffee-table conversations, one theme kept surfacing — collaboration as the catalyst for real change.
What struck me most was the diversity of minds in the room — entrepreneurs building climate tech startups, designers crafting circular solutions, and investors seeking not just returns, but regeneration. The dialogue was candid, hopeful, and charged with purpose.
I was especially encouraged by how many participants expressed interest in joining us at EarthX 2026 — proof that ideas shared in Malmö can travel far beyond Scandinavia, shaping projects and partnerships across continents.
As I left, I carried with me a renewed belief in what happens when vision meets action — when good design, strong science, and human empathy align. The Drop was a reminder that sustainability isn’t a trend; it’s a collective mindset.
